Growing up, I had dry skin that craved heavy lotions and potions. Now that I'm 23, I have combination skin where my t-zone and eyelids are grease balls, while the rest of my face gets super dry.

- Mask (2-3x a week)

The number one question I get asked is about my skincare routine: How do you make your skin look glowy? Well, here's my secret... jojoba oil. This magic oil is an odorless, liquid golden colored wax from the jojoba shrub.

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT SKIN
I would say that I am blessed with clear skin but I do occasionally break out. The past 3 months have been extremely stressful. In result of that, I had large pimples on the right side of my face that hurt when attempting to remove them. I don't recommend poppin' pimples (sorry tmi, but we all do it). Why? You'll get acne scars. I dread these evil spots because they can range in size and tend to cluster in one area. Arggh! But, I've learned to see these breakouts as a reminder that I need to do some self-care and stick to a healthy lifestyle.
Regardless if you've got more pimples than usual or if you skin can't decide if it likes you or not today, be kind and grateful for your skin. It's our largest organ and we need to cherish it. I'm on the hunt for non-toxic skincare and makeup, so if you have any favorites please let me know!
