My Affordable Everyday Makeup Routine ($50 SEPHORA GIVEAWAY)
I'm always running around Seattle so I need my makeup to be a quick process, long lasting, and affordable. My go to look tends to be natural looking and easy makeup. Primarily, I have dry skin, however, I get extremely oily eyelids and occasionally in my t-zone. I don't like spending a lot of money of beauty products (not including skincare). So, in this post I'll be sharing my favorite affordable everyday drugstore makeup items for 2017.
I am all about skin. I truly cannot emphasize the importance of skincare to have a good surface for flawless foundation. I'll spare you my skincare lecture but foundation and/or concealer is key for makeup. I use foundation to even out my complexion as I have some acne scars and discoloration. I'm currently using the L'oreal True Match Foundation in W8 which is under ($10) and is comparable to Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. Obviously, it does not last nearly as long but it's incredible pigmentation, coverage, and application for a drugstore foundation.
Last year, I started using powders to set my makeup as I noticed I became more combination skin. My all time favorite powder is the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Foundation in Biege. You have to trust me when I say that it is one of the best drugstore powders. Don't believe me? It's so good that I have worn it with just concealer. It's medium to full coverage but super light weight.
I desperately need to get my brows done but I always use the Ardell Brow Pomade with the sparkles in it. It comes with a double-sided brush with an angled tip and spooli brush. This is my ride or die product because I have new born baby caterpillar eyebrows if I don't. If I had to choose one product to wear each day, it would be this one.
I'm not super picky about what blush I use, as long as it doesn't break my skin out. But I do like to pack it on. It's just my signature. Flawless skin and a ton of blush or bronzer. But I love a good lip product. Y'all...a brown lip pencil is key to any makeup look. If you want the perfect nude add the Sephora Collection Rouge Gel Lip Liner in Rum Raisin. I always throw my Wet 'n' Wild Mega Liquid Lipstick or their regular Lipstick on top. I love how their collection looks beautiful on all skin tones.
Although this post is about my affordable makeup, I want to treat ONE OF YOU to some more luxe beauty products from Sephora. Want to easily win $50 to Sephora?
